**This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Ideal candidate will sit in the central or eastern time zones**
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the first point of contact for HR related inquiries from team members
Deliver consistent, timely guidance and responses to team members with superior customer service via phone, email and chat. Leverage knowledge base and other available information to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries effectively.
Investigate and thoroughly understand team member inquiries, identifying the root cause of their requests, gathering additional information as needed, and providing personalized, higher-touch support when required.
Effectively partner with People Team counterparts as necessary to resolve team member inquiries and issues in a timely customer focused manner.
Evaluate and process team member lifecycle events in HRIS system. Audit events to identify discrepancies and to provide corrected information.
Manage key team member life cycle processes and process HR transactions including but not limited to:
- Worker’s Compensation administration, including initial report of incidents and coordinating claims with the insurance carrier.
- Unemployment Insurance administration, including initial response to state claims and requests for information.
- Requests for employment verifications. Redirect requests to vendor and/or provide verbal and written employment verifications. Complete public service loan forgiveness forms.
Ensure personnel files conform to organizational data confidentiality and retention guidelines.
Participate in special projects engaged in the establishment and implementation of new processes for the People Team.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or 1-3 years of HR generalist/coordinator experience
Demonstrated knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources, as well as of local, state and federal employment laws
Experience with ServiceNow and Workday preferred.

Consistent ability to set and deliver against a work plan in a fast-paced environment, giving attention to detail even under high pressure situations.

The starting rate is $27.00-$30.00/hour. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
