ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Builds, sustains, and elevates high-impact relationships with key donors, sponsors,volunteersand community partners toensure revenue goal achievementand foster long-term engagement.30%
Recruits,engagesand mobilizes executives and leadership volunteers to support revenue plans, with a focus on event chairpersons, ambassadors, and event leadership teams. 20%
Partners with Corporate & Philanthropy team members to create tailoredpartner and donor experiences toattract andretainhigh-value supporters, as well asaligningeventpartners withbroaderSocietycultivation effortsto grow revenue impact beyond events.10%
Ensures a best-in-class event experience through oversight ofcomplexplanning,logistics, brand positioning, budgets, and vendor relationships. 10%
Monitorsfundraising progressandexpensesagainstbudget andbenchmarks, proactively adjustingstrategies toexceedaggressivefinancialgoals,andoptimizereturn on investment.10%
Effectivelyconvenesand coordinates the differentcontributors toeventsuccess - Corporate,Philanthropy,Marketing,coordinatorsupport,AreaLead, event execution, etc.10%
Champions community presence and brand elevation, positioning events as premier experiences that deepen public interest and engagement. 10%
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required:Bachelor’sDegree
Preferred Degree:Bachelor’s
Certificate(s) or License(s): None
Years of experience:4+ years successful experience in fundraising, corporateengagement,volunteer partnership,and relationship development.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Experience drivingrevenue through sales excellence –prospecting, identification, cultivation, solicitation, evaluation,stewardship– with a focus on large, multi-year partnerships.
Skilled at leading high-functioning collaborativeeventteams, includinginternal and externalstakeholders,to execute event deliverables.
Creates a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve itsobjectives.
Demonstrated ability in handling multiple priorities, projectand timelinemanagementand planning.
Ability to proactivelymonitorand adjust activities to respond to changing circumstances and priorities to meet goals, proactively address issues as theyariseand mitigate risks associatedtoevents.
Able to work through others toaccomplishgoals; builds support for ideas among key stakeholders and decision makers.
Proven relationship building, persuasion and influence skills.
Ability to recruit, train and motivateexecutive, C-suite level &high influence leadershipvolunteers.
Strong customer service orientation, with extensive experience in effectively addressing and resolving issues.
Proactivelymonitorsdataand adjustsactivities to respond to changing circumstances and priorities to meet goals.
Strong market,communityand constituentknowledge & experience.
Effectively builds formal and informal networks, both inside and outside theorganization; leverages knowledge andnetworkto remove barriers and achieve outcomes.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Limited travel to meetings, training & events.
Expectation of being external in the market an average of 3 days per week.
Must be able toattendevening and weekend meetings,eventsand programs.
PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS:
Some lifting as part of event set up activities.
The starting rate is $75,000 - $80,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
