Senior Manager, Ethics - Remote

The Senior Manager, Ethics is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing programs that promote ethical behavior and integrity across the organization. This role ensures compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct, values, and applicable laws and regulations, while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.


***This is a remote position that can be home-based anywhere within the United States.***

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ethics Program Leadership (25%)
    • Design, implement, and manage the organization’s Ethics program, including policies, training, and communication strategies.
    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Policy Development & Oversight: ( 20%)
    • Maintain and update the Code of Conduct and other Ethics-related policies.
    • Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Training & Awareness: (20%)
    • Develop and deliver Ethics training for employees at all levels.
    • Create awareness campaigns to reinforce ethical standards and decision-making.
  • Investigations & Reporting: (20%)
    • Manage investigations into potential ethical violations, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
    • Prepare reports and metrics for senior leadership and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Advisory & Guidance: (10%)
    • In collaboration with Compliance and Ethics leadership and Legal, as needed, serve as a trusted advisor to employees on ethical issues raised through the organization’s reporting channels.
    • Provide guidance on risk mitigation and ethical decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: (5%)
    • Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, HR, and other departments to integrate ethics into business

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
  • Preferred Degree: Master's Degree
  • Years of experience: 
    • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in ethics, compliance, or related field.
    • Proven track record of managing ethics programs and investigations.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive cultural change across diverse teams.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimal travel is required, primarily for attendance at annual team meetings or other occasional in-person gatherings as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work is performed primarily in a remote home-office setting. 
  • The role requires prolonged periods of sitting while working at a computer, with occasional standing and walking during virtual meetings or breaks. 
  • There are no significant physical demands such as lifting, bending, or manual labor. 

Additional Job Description

The starting rate is $105,000 to $120,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
