ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develops and executes the organization’s entertainment marketing strategy to integrate celebrities and influencers in mission, fundraising, and advocacy campaigns, driving increased visibility and supporter engagement. (25%)
- Provides strategic oversight of the organization’s external talent agency, guiding prioritization, talent matching, and partnership negotiations, while monitoring quality and performance. Develops and strengthens internal celebrity and influencer stewardship capabilities, building trusted relationships with key talent and industry stakeholders to advance mission goals. (20%)
- Leads talent integration for key organizational events and media initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, craft creative approaches, and ensure seamless execution across in-person, digital, and broadcast activations. (15%)
- Partners with Growth Marketing to optimize influencer and creator strategies using data-driven insights to identify talent, optimize social media reach, and measure performance across channels and campaigns. (10%)
- Negotiates and manages contracts, rights, and legal compliance related to talent participation, ensuring appropriate use of likeness, intellectual property protections, and alignment with reputation and brand-risk guidelines. (10%)
- Measures, analyzes, and reports on entertainment marketing performance, using data to inform talent selection, refine strategies, and demonstrate return on investment for mission and revenue outcomes. (10%)
- Advises organizational leaders on entertainment trends and cultural insights, providing strategic guidance to enhance brand relevance, audience growth, and campaign impact. (10%)
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
- Preferred Degree: Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications
- Years of experience: 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in entertainment marketing, talent management, or related fields, including experience managing external vendors or agencies
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-profile relationships with talent, agents, and managers
- Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to connect marketing strategy to organizational goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze campaign performance and data to drive talent and influencer strategies
- Proficiency in vendor/agency management and overseeing complex external partnerships, including contract negotiation
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to travel, when necessary, limited to external meetings and conferences
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
- No or very limited physical effort required.
- No or very limited exposure to physical risk.
The starting rate is $110,000 to $133,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
