The Executive Producer leads the end-to-end production for our in-house creative organization, overseeing both live-action production and post-production teams. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality creative work efficiently and at scale, ensuring projects move seamlessly from concept through final delivery across multiple channels and campaigns.
This leader will build and manage a high-performing production team while establishing the processes, resource planning, and vendor partnerships needed to support a modern, content-driven marketing organization. They will ensure the team can scale up or down based on campaign demand, strategically leveraging external partners, freelance talent, and production vendors when needed while maximizing the impact of internal capabilities.
The Executive Producer will partner closely with creative and operations leadership to translate creative vision into executable production plans, balancing creative ambition with timelines, budgets, and operational realities. A strong people leader, this role will foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented culture within the production team while developing talent and continuously improving production workflows.
Success in the role requires deep experience across live-action and post-production environments, strong operational discipline, and the ability to manage multiple teams and projects while delivering exceptional creative outcomes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Production Leadership & Execution (25%)
Lead the execution of all video and photography production across live-action and post-production teams. Oversee the production from concept through final delivery, ensuring projects are delivered at the highest creative and technical standards across campaigns, brand storytelling, and marketing initiatives.
Production Planning, Resourcing & Delivery (25%)
Lead production planning, schedules, and resourcing across projects. Balance in-house teams, external partners, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to optimize timelines, budgets, and delivery without sacrificing quality.
Post-Production, Finishing & Delivery Standards (20%)
Establish best practices and standards for editorial workflows, finishing, accessibility, and final delivery across formats and platforms. Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies that improve efficiency, streamline versioning and localization, and support high-volume content production without compromising craft.
Leadership & Talent Development (20%)
Lead and develop a high-performing in-house team including the Director of Video Production, producers, editors, and post-production management. Provide clear leadership, direction, and support across both live-action and post-production disciplines while fostering a collaborative, high-accountability culture.
Build team capabilities, establish clear roles and workflows, and ensure the production organization can scale effectively by integrating freelance talent, production partners, and specialized vendors when needed.
Creative Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)
Partner closely with creative leadership and operations to translate creative vision into executable production plans. Provide guidance on scope, feasibility, timelines, and production approaches that support impactful storytelling and efficient campaign delivery.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in production leadership within agency, media, broadcast, or in-house creative environments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY:
- Extensive experience leading end-to-end production across multiple formats, including video, photography, and post-production, from concept through final delivery, with an emphasis on creating clear, efficient, scalable production workflows.
- Proven success delivering complex, high-visibility productions across a range of formats, including brand campaigns, long-form storytelling, short-form and social content, testimonial content, and high-volume campaign production balancing creative excellence with operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary production teams, including producers, editors, post‑production specialists, directors, and technical staff, with a strong ability to optimize team structures, roles, and resourcing models to maximize output and quality.
- Deep experience streamlining production processes, improving cross‑functional collaboration, and implementing systems and workflows that increase speed, clarity, and consistency across concurrent productions.
- Strong financial and operational acumen, including budget ownership, production forecasting, vendor negotiation, and cost management across multiple workstreams, with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and ROI.
- Experience building, scaling, and continuously optimizing in‑house production capabilities while strategically leveraging external agencies, production companies, and freelance resources to meet evolving creative and business needs.
- Ability to partner closely with senior creative leadership to translate creative vision into clear, executable production plans — aligning teams, timelines, and resources to deliver high‑quality work on time and on budget.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- Approximately 20-40% travel required for shoots, leadership meetings, and creative team meetings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Frequent sitting and computer use; occasional standing, walking, or lifting up to 15 pounds.
The starting rate is $150,000 to $170,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
