ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Executes a corporate revenue growth strategy as a member ofanareateam, targeting Fortune 1000 companies and top regional employers to accelerate income generation and advance mission priorities.30%
Applies proven sales methodologies toidentify, cultivate, and secure new revenue streams through strategic corporate partnerships, witha focus on 6-figure plus, multi-year, multi-siteand national deals.20%
Recruitsandengagesexecutive leadership, building and sustaining C-suite relationships to secure high-level commitments and long-term support.15%
Manages and grows external relationships with key corporate stakeholders, ensuring consistent engagement, satisfaction, and partnership expansion.15%
Collaborates cross-functionally across organizational pillars to align corporate initiatives with strategic priorities and maximize partnership value.10%
Serves as a core member of the Area leadership team, contributing to strategic planning, goal setting, and execution to advance organizational objectives. 10%
May manageacorporate account operationsteam member, providing management, coaching, and training.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
BS/BA or equivalent experience, plus a preferred 8 years successful experience in fundraising, corporate engagement, and executive relationship development with distinguished partners, preferably with a multi-million dollar organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Leadswith a growth mindset,setting and achieving ambitious year-over-year revenue goals.
Proven ability to design and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies that drive significant revenue growth across multiple channels.
Significantexpertiseand experiencein building andmaintaininglong-term relationshipswithcorporate partners, with a focus on donor engagement and retention
Proventrack recordsecuring 6 and 7 figure corporate relationships
Demonstrates strong sales skills and proventrack recordinidentifyingand securing new revenue opportunities
Delivers compelling communication with exceptional ability to engage and influence executive level stakeholders
Exhibitsdemonstratedability to collaborate effectively across organizational pillars and departments
Applies expert-level skills in managing complex external relationships and stakeholder engagement
Proficient in using donor data and analytics to inform strategy, track performance, andoptimizefundraising efforts.
Possesses leadership capabilities suitable for Area leadership team participation
Maintains market influence and reputation within the corporate philanthropy sector
Leverages deep missionexpertise and ability to articulate ACS impact and strategic priorities
Provides strong market,community and constituent perspective
Commands broad knowledge of the overall structure, programs, and services of the American Cancer Society including policies and procedures
Remains composed under stress, handles responses to criticism tactfully and delivers on organizational commitments
Analyzes and integrates information from relevant sources
Demonstratesproficiency in computer-based information systems
Exhibits excellent project management, planning, and organization skills
Applies strong strategic planning skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Limited overnight travel within the area and to region/enterprise meetings and events
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Expectation to be external in market, 3 days per week average

The starting rate is $115,000 to $120,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
