This role must be able to influence and learn from diverse internal stakeholders to identify and develop the account management practices for each account for mission impact and amplification revenue generation. This role requires knowledge of sales, marketing, foundation, sustainability, employee engagement/HR, procurement, benefits in order to develop partnerships. In addition, this role is accountable for working with those in regional and divisional geographies in order to coordinate and implement the best account managment for ACS. This role interacts with external CEOs and internal senior leaders across many functions – depending on the access point within a corporation – in order to assess the mutually beneficial intersection for continued collaboration and account depth.
**This role is remote in the United States. High preference to those that reside and have working knowledge of the west coast**
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver growth revenue for assigned portfolio.
- Develop and manage budgetary considerations for the portfolio, ensuring financial and impact objectives are met.
- Monitor and analyze impact performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement and account depth.
- Identify potential risks associated with the portfolio and develop mitigation strategies with the full account team.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to anticipate challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive portfolio strategy aligned with the ACS's and partners overall business goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks affecting the portfolio of accounts.
- Develop Account Management practices to be adopted enterprise wide within the corporate department.
- Measure the key metrics to ensure account plans are delivering based on resources being committed.
- Lead high level negotiations with accounts externally.
- Collaborate with Region & Division Corporate account managers to optimize the ACS’s account management practices.
- Engage cross-functional team members in delivery of the multi-facted account plans.
- Work with ACS cross-functional constituents (Patient Support, ACS CAN, Discovery, etc) to ensure ACS is advancing the right mission and revenue priorities with the right partners within industry focus.
- Develop executive presentations for the short-term and long-range plans for accounts.
- Work actively with Corporate Operations team in developing the right tools to support account opportunities, specifically and/or industry-wide.
- Effectively lead direct reports in advancing portfolio revenue and impact growth.
FORMAL KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor’s Degree; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of account management leadership
- Experience in all industries
SPECIALIZED TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:
- A highly trained with a track record of account management success – non-profit experience a plus, but not a requirement.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments in matrixed organizations (internally and with the assigned accounts orgnizations).
- Deep understanding of portfolio account management practices with a demonstrated success of growing and retaining accounts.
- Deep understanding of contracts to leverage conversations when renewing or upgrading partnerships.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing portfolios to drive large portfolio business growth into new verticals.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis of account portfolio’s.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and make informed decisions.

The starting rate is $158,000-$170,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education
