This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere within the U.S.

The Senior Graphic Designer is a highly skilled visual communicator responsible for elevating and evolving the organization’s brand across digital and print touchpoints. This role combines expert craft with strategic design thinking—ensuring every asset strengthens brand recognition, communicates with clarity, and reflects a cohesive visual identity.

A successful Senior Designer brings deep fluency in brand systems, visual consistency, and storytelling, creating work that is not only attention getting but unmistakably on brand. They help shape the ongoing evolution of design standards, protect the integrity of the visual language, and ensure that creative expression remains fresh, modern, and aligned to enterprise level brand direction.

As a senior member of the creative team, this role collaborates closely with art directors, copywriters, and cross functional partners, providing design leadership, contributing to conceptual development, and mentoring junior designers to strengthen overall creative quality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Leads the design and production of brand defining work across digital, social,and print—ensuring all deliverables reflect a refined, cohesive, and elevated visual identity.(30%)

  • Contributes to and enhances conceptual development, partnering with art directors and copywriters to create ideas and visual narratives that reinforce brand storytelling across integrated campaigns.(30%)

  • Executes on multiple complex projects aligning with timelines and priorities set by Project Managers and Creative Operations, meetsestablished timelines, adoptsto feedback, navigatesshifting priorities, and maintains high creative quality from concept to final delivery. (20%)

  • Upholds and advances brand standards, applying expert craft, accessibility best practices, and strong visual judgment to protect consistency and strengthen brand equity across all platforms.(10%)

  • Shapes and evolves visual identity systems, supporting updates to brand guidelines, templated systems, and design patterns to ensure a modern, unified brand presence.(10%)

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • 5–7+ years of professional design experience, ideally within an agency or inhouse creative team, with a portfolio demonstrating sophisticated brand driven work across digital and print.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and nice to haveexperience in motion/animation tools such as After Effects.

  • Proven ability to steward and evolve brand identity systems through high-quality visual execution.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions.

  • Experience mentoring junior talent and contributing to teamwide creative excellence.

  • An exceptional portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Best-in-class design and branding 

  • High-performing paid social and digital campaigns

  • Integrated visual brand storytelling across channels

  • Exceptional visual craft across typography, layout, composition, and motion.

  • Deep understanding of brand systems and the ability to apply them with consistency and creativity.

  • Strong conceptual and storytelling abilities that reinforce brand purpose and narrative.

  • Collaborative mindset and ability to build strong partnerships with creative and cross functional teams.

  • Detail oriented, proactive, and committed to elevating the brand in every deliverable.

  • Demonstrates proficiency working within project management tools (e.g., Monday.com,Workfront, etc.)

TRAVEL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimal travel (0–10%) for team meetings, events, or production needs.

  • Standard office and computer-based work requirements.

  • Frequently sits for extended periods while working at a computer.

  • Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer and design tools.

  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, or lift items weighing up to 15 pounds (e.g., print materials, signage, event coverage).

  • Vision abilities include close vision for detailed design work and ability to adjust focus.

The starting rate is $80,000 to $87,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
