Integrations Solutions Developer - Remote

The role of the Integration Solution Developer is to enable source and destination systems to communicate & transfer data between each other. The Integration Solution Developer contributes in the design, build/development, configuration, test, and optimization of integrations and APIs for cloud and on-prem, off-the-shelf, SaaS, and custom written applications. This includes implementation of changes into production, application monitoring, being the highest escalated tier for troubleshooting, and data clean-up. Acts as a subject matter expert to internal IT groups and provides feedback and recommendations to management relative to the optimization of integrations between environments and automation of repeatable tasks.

***This is a remote position that can be home based anywhere in the United States. Developer Certification in Boomi is required.***

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, build/configure, test, and deploy integrations and APIs between applications
  • Plays a role in the creation of new technical test, staging, and production environments and establishes appropriate standards and strategies for these environments.
  • Works with the development, QA, and release team to ensure that any new releases take place with minimal impact to the business
  • Ensures adequate backup and disaster recovery provisions exist
  • Provides developer level (Tier 3) support to support teams as needed
  • Documents technical systems, processes, and procedures clearly and completely
  • Collaborate and contribute on highly complex projects across different teams
  • Contribute in estimating Level of Effort, scoping, and tracking work via Azure DevOps
  • Performs regular data security reviews
  • Performs application and system Disaster Recovery planning and exercises for Business Continuity.
  • Automates standard procedures where possible
  • Participating in an on-call rotation and war-room situation as necessary.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

FORMAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science with a minimum of 6 years of relevant developer integration experience and recognized as a subject matter expert.
  • Developer Boomi certification required to demonstrate formal knowledge and understanding of concepts to be put into practice.
  • At least one enterprise Boomi implementation on development side.  Cannot only be production support.
  • Minimum 5 years Boomi developer experience designing, building, and orchestration of administration playbooks experience required.
  • Minimum of 4 years building and/or maintaining integrations with Salesforce or a CRM system required.
  • Subject Matter Expert level for Boomi application in-order to make developer and architecture design recommendations against functional/user requirements.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce, NetSuite, Concur, and/or Coupa a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years supporting integrations and APIs between websites, financial applications, customer facing applications, and internal-based enterprise applications required
  • Demonstrated understanding of integration and API technical architecture principles, including REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTTP methods such as GET & POST are required.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end testing principle and practice
  • Experience supporting Salesforce preferred.
  • Knowledge of the SDLC process, including the testing of integrations
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment
  • Experience establishing and tuning environments
  • Experience with git source control required
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks/issues simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated scripting skills in one or more common languages is required (Java, C#, Node.js, XML technologies, Javascript/JSON).

SPECIALIZES TRAINING OR KNOWLEDGE:

  • Developer certification in Boomi required.
  • Solution Architect Boomi certification a plus
  • Understanding of API Gateway
  • Knowledge of Java and/or Javascript programming language
  • Integration between Salesforce and ERP system, preferably NetSuite

  • Strong interpersonal, written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be available to work flexible hours
  • Periodic on-call availability is required.
  • Handle being a Subject Matter Expert for design, build, test, and support of integrations

The starting rate is $88,000 to $110,000 annual. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
